You might look at the Marines first for the scholarship benefits to get through college unless you have other scholarships available and planning to join ROTC so you will go into the Marines initially as an officer. I mention this just as an option, but you may have considered it already. You seem pretty squared away.

The Marines are a good platform for either agency – maybe hte best.

Your educational plans depend upon what do you want to do when you get to either agency? Getting there is only one part of the goal. Doing what you want once inside is another important aspect.

If you want counter terrorism, then the language route is very helpful. If you want to do a more enforcement route such as bank robbery case work, then a CJ degree would help. If you like the idea of working public corruption cases, then get an accounting degree and become a CPA. There are a number of highly technical areas which require specialized degrees in the hard sciences. Only you know your skills and interests.

You need to study those internal desires and skills first and then prepare to meet those through your career plan. I would visit the local FBI office and make contact with their recruiter or contact the CIA through their web site. They also visit many colleges for recruiting activities. Ask a lot of questions there — this personal relationship is often helpful in more ways than one.
